01. What it is
Dubud is a streetwear brand from São Paulo, established in 2018. The brand itself — the visual identity, the illustrations, the prints, most of what you see here — was built by ERQ. We were not the designers on this one.
02. What we did
We came in from the outside, as consultants. The first job was the concept: whether it held up before it reached a shop window, whether it read as a brand and not just a logo printed on a t-shirt, whether it had a place in the city it was being born into.
After that, a part of the launch strategy, a part of the marketing thinking, and approval on some of the artwork. A small role, and an early one — the kind where you sit at a table you weren't originally at, say what you think, and leave the decision with the people who own the brand.
